A SALUTE FIRST TO THE MAN WHO RIDES THE WINDS OF LIGHTNING
To be able to grasp this amazing natural fact that even a backyard experimenter like me can clearly observe in the Earth as a giant capacitor, consider first these words and subtle hints of ideas from Nikola Tesla, the greatest inventor that ever walked this Earth:
-The earth is a giant capacitor; when lightning strikes it is the result of it discharging
-The capacitor is the means of producing the strongest current with the highest electrical pressure
-The idea came like a flash of "lightning," and in an instant the truth was revealed
I am not a Tesla fan because of his works, I am a fan because of his good intentions to the world, in making it a better place for everyone, seldom will you find one even in a thousand generations. Other inventors during his time loved to become more famous and richer, but Tesla is very much at ease when he will entertain friends about his ideas. How generous and unselfish a man is he really? Would walking away from a “billion dollar worth of contract” (in today’s pricing) be enough evidence? Because he tore it, the paper contract, to support Westinghouse during the great depression years. We all know who and what Westinghouse the Company is, it was Tesla that made this man and Company billionaires! While Tesla himself died a penniless man. I believe firmly that if only he is alive and well at this timeline of ours, he sure is blogging here at STEEMIT, this is no joke for my part in saying this. I just hope the good STEEMIANS, from whales to minnows, not forget the values this great scientist and person shared to all of us. I am here now due to this man, I salute him with all my good and Godly intent.
SO HOW TO HARVEST THE POWER OF THE EARTH CAPACITOR?
If the Earth is one giant reservoir of voltage and energy, I can clearly conclude then that even a little grain of its power can make a City light up, provided we know HOW.
The circuit I will share to you, the reader, in this post is observed by accident when I tinker on the arrangements of the joulethief circuit. It is as if I stumbled upon a gold mine, even if I admit I never even realized during the time of its discovery. Without further adieu, I present the Earth-Cap Joulethief Mod circuit:
If we examine the circuit above, the Earth-Cap mod is just a slight change and additions to the Voltage Reservoir mod as presented on my last post. To mention such additions, I will enumerate:
-An aerial antenna at about 10 meters hanging above horizontally (I use coaxial cable)
-A ground connection through an iron stake punched straight to the soil at about 1 meter depth
-A second capacitor as the reservoir of any voltage that will be harvested
-Rectifier diodes to direct the current “from the air to the ground” in the proper direction
To further clarify and convince everyone that this is really a small voltage as harvested from the skies returning to the ground (exactly like a lightning!!!), let me state the facts:
-If I remove the ground connection with the aerial antenna still connected, no voltage can be collected on the second capacitor (CAP2)
-If I remove the aerial antenna with the ground still connected, no voltage can be collected on the second capacitor (CAP2)
-If the circuit is not running, no voltage can be collected on the second capacitor (CAP2)
-If I measure the voltage directly from the aerial antenna to the Earth ground, no voltage
-If all is connected as presented in the circuit above and the circuit made to run, voltages of up to 200 volts DC can be collected on the second capacitor (CAP2)
Let your analysis run through such descriptions, you have no choice but to conclude that THERE IS REALLY USABLE VOLTAGE FROM THE SKIES WITH RESPECT TO THE SOIL!!! Believe me, I already spent countless sleepless nights thinking and validating this weird natural phenomenon haha.
What now we may ask ourselves? Well, for one, we need to validate if the voltage that is collected is really useful, what good will it bring us if we can not even tap to it right? In doing so, I added a 3 watts 220 volt LED bulb combining both the two capacitors’ voltage, and as if magic, it lights up! What a genius Tesla really is, here is the circuit:
The circuit above with the 3 watt LED bulb lighting up clearly tells us that the said two caps in series arrangement has power and voltage that we can use in our future endeavors on this very unique circuit. For now, let us just leave it as is, with the 3 watt LED bulb lighting up. Not bad really man, hopefully all of us STEEMIANS can also realize now that if not for STEEMIT these types of knowledge can not possibly reach the masses safely and effectively.
It is just my humble request that you spread this news, share it to your family and friends, build it at your own homes, ask help from technical neighbors if you are not one. This will be my ultimate measure of success here, if this spreads to the whole world as being useful.
Let me present the current flows first in our usual red-blue circuit before explaining the circuit behaviors:
AT A TIME WHEN THE TRANSISTOR “CLOSES”
At the initial state of the charger’s powering up, the current flow is as indicated:
source battery positive --→ charge battery –→ inductor secondary --→ transistor base / charge battery –→ inductor primary --→ transistor collector –→ source battery negative
And at the same time:
Energy from the skies through the aerial antenna --→ inductor secondary --→ transistor base ---> transistor emitter --→ second capacitor --→ Earth ground
The same blue lines will also indicate that the indicated currents are happening in impulses at the same time. This here is just my take as per observations, I may be wrong here, but what is important for all of us is that the second capacitor charges to 200 volt levels!!!
AT A TIME WHEN THE TRANSISTOR “OPENS”
The same current flow will happen as described before in the Voltage Reservoir mod:
primary inductor positive --→ flywheel diode –→ capacitor –→ bypass diode –- > charge battery --→ primary inductor negative
Same flow as before, but let us remember that at this mod there are already two capacitors in series, with voltages that can be added up and be used for any useful electrical purpose, well, again, if we just know what we are doing.
WHAT WE HAVE ACHIEVED WITH THESE MODS
Maybe you as the reader is not really that technical so I can not blame you, but let me just describe here what we have obtained as far as its usefulness is concerned:
-True Lighting mod will give us real and usable lighting that can be useful at our homes
-Charger mod will enable us to “charge and discharge” the source battery and the charge battery to no end
-Voltage Reservoir mod will give us the ability to collect the “healing” cycle of the red current which is much higher than the source voltage; we can use such voltage to do useful electrical work as needed later on
-Earth-Cap mod gives us the ability to collect the atmospheric (sky to ground) voltages on another second capacitor; we can use such voltage to do useful electrical work as needed later on
IDEAS FOR THE NEXT MODS
No, we do not have to do more mods, we just need to combine all mods as presented in the previous posts up to this post. I am quiet confident and contented with what we have now, a complete circuit with big potential in lighting the world which consequently is really getting darker even if technologies advance further, hope you got my point.
