Mars, the ruthless god of war, once promised peace to the Roman people, but he could no longer resist his innermost urge. Disguised as an ordinary legionnaire, he moved into those battles he himself had previously incited and fought like a bloodthirsty, invincible beast.
The unthinkable happened! He was badly injured during a fight. Overwhelmed by the pain, he collapsed. He found himself in a makeshift settlement where a young woman named Delia sat at his bedside day and night and took care of his till burning wounds. Mars decided to keep his identity secret and enjoyed the unfamiliar attention he was given.
