Aftershock...

7F64CD5C-BDFC-4C1D-A651-6FE1A6029529.jpeg

When I made the commitment to write in my blog everyday I knew very well that there will be days, like this one, when I am in under no circumstances able to do anything let alone blog..still the commitment has been made and here we go..

Today I am going to talk about feelings, regrets and emotional exhaustion so I am giving away the content in case this does not represent an interest to you!
For the rest that decide to stay with me ‘till the end here we go..

I have come to realise that in the morning the mind is well-rested and for that reason I can think of certain things in a more clear perspective then any other moment of the day.
I have always found myself running from certain unpleasant moments or people in life and instead of being straight forward and take “the bull by the horns”, I found the easy way out... and that was running..yes running! The art of the coward.. I always found that it was the best move when dealing with stubborn, selfish and fucked up situations. I was wrong .. you can never run away from anything. I, also, have a theory to back that up ! And it goes like this... Whatever you are running from at that moment, is right next to you all along, and it will stay, in your circle of life and grow bigger and meaner ! It will surround you for years, until one day it will decide, for no apparent reason, to bite you straight where the sun don’t shine! And then you realise what you have been doing ! That you are not your own person, you are having an existential crisis and whatever you have been doing with your life, so far, was all a lie..It is hard to face it all at once..it gets overwhelming and you become tired and suddenly a deep depression takes over like a megathrust earthquake’s aftershock! 862F0B7B-3991-43C8-9907-B0E5CE661ED7.jpegYou cannot function because all you see is your meaningless existence..shaken to it’s core..all you can do is let the dust in the air settle and plan a whole new life strategy since this has not been a pleasant journey...

Today was the day that I got bitten..

Keep in touch,

PS: my story has no happy ending, (at least not today), but I am grateful to be able to share this as it has been a deep incursion of my conscience.
