If the test shot is better than the planned light painting

Here you can see the setup for some camera rotation pictures. I always take a test shot first. Normally I don't show them. In most cases there is not much to see. But here this test shot is the best result of the day in my opinion. The pictures I actually planned are not nearly as effective as the test shot. I'll show you two of the rotaion pictures anyway.

Hier seht ihr das Setup f眉r einige Camera Rotation Bilder. Ich mache dann immer zuerst eine Testaufnahme. Normalerweise zeige ich die aber nicht. In den allermeisten F盲llen gibt es da eigentlich auch nicht viel zu sehen. Aber hier ist diese Testaufnahme das beste Ergebnis des Tages wie ich finde. Die eigentlich geplanten Bilder sind allesamt nicht ann盲hernd so wirkungsvoll wie die Testaufnahme. Zwei der Rotaion Bilder zeige ich euch trotzdem.

The two pictures, and also the other pictures of the day, are not really bad but somehow the mood from the first picture does not come into its own in the rotation pictures. But I'm still happy with the result, even though for once it was taken without much effort.

Die beiden Bilder, und auch die anderen Bilder des Tages, sind jetzt nicht wirklich schlecht aber irgendwie kommt die Stimmung aus dem ersten Bild in den Rotation Bilder nicht zur Geltung. Aber trotzdem bin ich gl眉cklich 眉ber das Ergebnis, auch wenn das ausnahmsweise mal ohne gro脽en Aufwand entstanden ist.

WHAT IS LIGHT PAINTING?

Light painting is a unique form of art. The darkness is illuminate by the artist with diverse light sources and light traces are paint into the picture with various light tools. Various techniques are use, such as camera rotation or other movements of the camera during the exposure. The creative possibilities are almost unlimited. All the pictures were taken during one single exposure. Apart from denoising, sharpening, cutting and possibly adjusting the white balance, the pictures are not processed on the computer.
