1-Click Rentals, State of DHF Proposal + My Last Cards Upgrade: Silverblade Fighter Max Level!
Splinterlands recently introduced an interesting and useful feature: 1-Click Rentals.
The new 1-Click Rentals feature allows new players to have a quick and easy option to rent a complete set of cards for the duration of the season and to start playing in the Modern Format with a large and varied set of cards.
In the Market section of Splinterlands there is a SET RENTALS option.
The rental cost can be paid with Credits or DEC tokens, and it is possible to see the cards in each rental offer.
The new feature is also one more option for those who want to put their cards up for rent.
In this case, in the SET RENTALS section, it is necessary to select CREATE instead of RENT.
Or it is possible to select CARD SETS within the ITEMS section.
I like all the simplification choices in any game, so I like this new feature and hope it will help simplify the initial stages of play for new players.
The new 1-Click Rentals feature could also be the main subject of an upcoming test of mine.
In fact, I like to test and after recently finishing a game test on comparing game activity and results between Wild and Modern formats it might be interesting for me and my readers to test this new feature.
I will think about it!

On July 15, 2024 @splinterlands published for the first time a DHF Proposal through which it asked the Hive community for 500K HBD support in a 180-day time frame.

The Splinterlands proposal has passed the Return Proposal threshold and is currently active and supported with 2777 HBDs per day.
The proposal immediately created debates and discussions between those who were in favor and those who were not.
I supported the proposal from the very beginning because I love Splinterlands and I have been an active player since September 2019 but I also expressed some concerns especially inherent to some game mechanisms that I don't like such as the tolerance of private bots in the Wild Format which in my opinion is and will always be a risky element for the future prospects of Splinterlands and for the retention of new and old players in the medium to long term.
After the debates and discussions, 2 days ago, Splinterlands published this post: Splinterlands DHF Proposal Follow Up in which it pointed out that Splinterlands has no plans to leave Hive and also planned to support Hive more in the future by listing three points that the Splinterlands team will work on and which you can read in the screenshot below.
I am a Splinterlands lover but I am mostly a Hive lover and for that reason I like these new Splinterlands goals but at the same time I still think that the DHF Proposal should be formulated with more details.
I don't know if this is an easy thing to implement but establishing a basic format for DHF proposals to follow could be a good starting point to improve the DHF proposal system because in the past I have often seen DHF proposals formulated with little detail.
Regarding my game activity on Splinterlands a few days ago I reached an upgrade goal I had set for myself about two months ago: to have Silverblade Fighter of the highest level.
To make this upgrade, I used the Make Bid feature of Peakmonsters and three days ago completed the purchase of 55 BCX of Silverblade Fighter
With Silverblade Fighter at level 8, I have added another top-level card of the Rebellion set to my card collection and I hope it will help me improve my game results in Modern Format's Gold leagues.
I like to use Silverblade Fighter especially in combination with Jared Scar and a card with the Taunt ability in last position supported by a card with the Triage ability, and today I tried my latest upgrade immediately in battle as soon as I found a battle with the appropriate rulesets.
Although my opponent used a summoner with the Scattershot ability that weakened my starting strategy the Silverblade Fighter + Jared Scar combo played well in the battle and was important in winning the battle that ended in Round 4 with a victory for me.

Di recente Splinterlands ha introdotto un'interessante e utile funzionalità: 1-Click Rentals.
La nuova funzionalità 1-Click Rentals permette ai nuovi giocatori di avere un'opzione facile e veloce per noleggiare un completo set di carte per l'intera durata della stagione e per iniziare a giocare nel Modern Format con un set di carte ampio e vario.
Nella seione Market di Splinterlands è presente l'opzione SET RENTALS.
Il costo del noleggio può essere pagato con i Credits o con i token DEC ed è possibile vedere le carte presenti in ogni offerta di noleggio.
La nuova funzionalità è anche un opzione in più per chi vuole mettere a noleggio le proprie carte.
In questo caso nella sezione SET RENTALS è necessario selezionare CREATE invece di RENT.
Oppure è possibile selezionare CARD SETS all'interno della sezione ITEMS
Mi piacciono tutte le scelte di semplificazione in ogni gioco e per questo motivo questa nuova funzionalità mi piace e spero che possa contribuire a semplificare le fasi iniziali di gioco dei nuovi giocatori.
La nuova funzionalità 1-Click Rentals potrebbe essere anche il soggetto principale di un mio prossimo test.
Infatti mi piace fare i test e dopo aver concluso di recente un test di gioco sulla comparazione dell'attività di gioco e dei risultati tra i formati Wild e Modern potrebbe essere interessante per me e per i miei lettori testare questa nuova funzionalità.

La proposta ha fin da subito creato dibattiti e discussioni tra chi era a favore e chi no.
Io ho supportato fin da subito la proposta perchè amo Splinterlands e sono un giocatore attivo dal settembre del 2019 ma ho anche espresso alcune perplessità soprattutto inerenti ad alcuni meccanismi di gioco che non mi piacciono come la tolleranza dei bots privati nel Wild Format che secondo me è e sarà sempre un elemento di rischio per le prospettive future di Splinterlands e per la ritenzione dei nuovi e vecchi giocatori nel medio-lungo periodo.
Dopo i dibattiti e le discussioni, 2 giorni fa, Splinterlands ha pubblicato questo post: Splinterlands DHF Proposal Follow Up in cui ha puntualizzato che Splinterlands non ha piani di lasciare Hive e ha anche pianificato di supportare maggiormente Hive nel futuro elencando tre punti su cui il team di Splinterlands lavorerà e che puoi leggere nello screenshot seguente.
Sono uno Splinterlands lover ma sono soprattutto un Hive lover e per questo motivo mi piacciono questi nuovi obiettivi di Splinterlands ma allo stesso tempo penso ancora che la DHF Proposal andrebbe formulata con più dettagli.
Non so se è una cosa facile da implementare ma stabilire un format di base da seguire per le DHF proposals potrebbe essere un buon punto di partenza per migliorare il sistema delle DHF proposals perchè in passato ho visto spesso delle DHF proposals formulate con pochi dettagli.
Per quanto riguarda la mia attività di gioco su Splinterlands pochi giorni fa ho raggiunto un obiettivo di upgrade che mi ero posto circa due mesi fa: avere Silverblade Fighter di massimo livello.
Per fare questo upgrade ho utilizzato la funzionalità Make Bid di Peakmonsters e tre giorni fa ho completato l'acquisto di 55 BCX di Silverblade Fighter
Con Silverblade Fighter di livello 8 ho aggiunto un'altra carta di massimo livello del set Rebellion alla mia collezione di carte e spero che mi aiuterà a migliorare i miei risultati di gioco nelle leghe Gold del Modern Format.
Mi piace utilizzare Silverblade Fighter soprattutto in combinazione con Jared Scar e una carta con l'abilità Taunt in ultima posizione supportata da una carta con l'abilità Triage e oggi ho provato subito in battaglia il mio ultimo upgrade appena ho trovato una battaglia con le rulesets appropriate.
Nonostante il mio avversario ha utilizzato un evocatore con l'abilità Scattershot che ha indebolito la mia strategia di partenza l'accoppiata Silverblade Fighter + Jared Scar ha giocato bene in battaglia ed è stata importante per vincere la battaglia che si è conclusa al Round 4 con una mia vittoria.
