This should have been my first post but instead it’s my 6th post.
I'm Franco-American so if you want to comment in French that's fine.
I spent most of my life dabbling in various creative pursuits.
I have studied traditional darkroom printing and photography in Florida while attending college from 1993 to 1995. That’s when I became my own model and started taking many self-portraits (NOT selfies) thanks to a good tripod and a film camera with a timer. I had fun becoming different characters.
I also studied art at the University of Texas in San Antonio from 2002 to 2004 while raising my young son.
I have exhibited my photographic artwork in the U.S. and France. My work has appeared in various publications and I have won several art contests.
I use different techniques for coloring my black and white photos such as oil paints, pastels, colored pencils and hand-toning. My traditional photos are hand-printed on archival fiber based silver gelatin paper in my darkroom.
I used infrared film for the photo bellow.
16" x 20" (40.64 x 50.80 cm)
I still continue to dabble and experiment with different art mediums.
Here's an oil abstract painting I did few years ago and sold it on ebay.
20" x 24" (50.8 x 60.96 cm)
This is me in 2013 taken with a regular digital camera.
That's all for now. Thanks for reading :)
