I am new to STEEMIT and I've been putting a lot of pressure to myself. I pushed myself to do anything to get more upvotes for better payout which leads me to go through the internet finding ways on how to create a following resulting to sleep deprivation and more allocation for the internet bill that defeats my primary target to earn in this platform. Also I pushed myself to create good contents which I find difficult now than when I am still in school resulting in less efficiency at work because my mind is very occupied thinking what to post.

This leads me to the following realizations:

• That the most important thing you can do here on this platform is to enjoy. When you enjoy what you are doing the rest will follow. If you enjoy #writing, put your heart on it and don't stop learning. Research and read so that more ideas will flow to you. Ask for help if you need to and extend help if someone needs.

• That earning is not the most important thing. When I joined this platform, my mind was fixed to the goal to earn. I realized this is wrong because if you fixed your mind to this goal, you'll not be happy if you get only a little upvotes. You tend to copy someone else's works so that you can post something of good content.

So my advice to people newer than me on this platform, do not fix your mind to earning but to ENJOY and dont stop learning.
