We all are human being living in this earth and we helped each other in various way's, we cheated others in various way's as both good and bad people are present in the society. But in my opinion bad people are not bad by inherited it's the society or their friends circle who made them bad. There's always a story behind a criminal and i always inspired from these stories and I pity on criminals while obviously society has the main role.

Punishment for the crime's!!!
These day's crime's are so increasing here that people don't feel safe here. But believe me there's no strict laws for these criminals as they're living freely on the ground and live their life happily. In my opinion if a crime happened then there must be it's punishment because the criminal have to take the responsibility of the crime or the act he did. He can not just run away but here mostly are run away easily.
Why punishment is necessary??
As i said that punishment is necessary because in my opinion in this case maybe we can lesser the crime rate. Because there'll be a fear in people of getting punishment and they can not think about doing any criminal act. And the punishment should be equal for anyone. If there's a rich or poor guy , the punishment will be equal.
But there are still some people who are so stubborn or Fearless that they don't stop even after knowing that they'll get punishment for their bad act. They're continually doing crime's. Still here is the problem that they never caught by police and never get any punish and thus they're freely living. But some are so stubborn that they continually doing their crime even after finishing the punishment.
For such people, the rehabilitation is necessary, they should become a better person when they release from jail or after finishing their punishment. Purpose of rehabilitation was good to make them a better person for the society. And people are not bad by birth, it's not in their inheritance so i think they could be a better person if we guide them and talk to them.
Rehabilitation is actually just like a counseling and counseling help better in more way's. But sometimes people start to do evil acts even after releasing from rehabs. But i think punishment not alone make a better society but proper rehabilitation can make a better society and it's more Better for society and it's people.
Final thoughts!!!
In my opinion both punishment and rehabilitation are good but the best way is to rehabilitate, because you can counseling the criminal and maybe they're becoming a sourse to stop the crime in future by giving guidance to more people.
