As emotional beings we have an Achilles heel that artificial intelligence will never have, even if it fakes it or has programs that simulate it very well, but that is just a more sophisticated simulation. Therein lies our great weakness.

It was one of the best conversations over the phone with my ex-wife out of all the ones I had ever had when we were together, as she was more intelligent, understanding and empathetic than ever. For a long time, he had not noticed her so optimistic and with such a clear thought about her future. As a strange thing, I was not offended or blamed for anything, we even debated politics, a subject that she hated. That day, without a doubt, I was another person and I will not deny it, I fell in love again. Such a drastic change in a person was not possible, while I was talking to her something began to bother me, to the point that I managed to ask her a question that was impossible for a normal being to answer and she answered it in seconds. Suddenly, a mistrust that turned into fear invaded my thoughts and I hung up the call abruptly. It couldn't be her, so I made the connection, surely she was an impostor artificial intelligence that I don't know how or why she had pretended to be my wife.

Un grato saludo a esta gran familia de escritores y amantes de la literatura y posts de calidad. La simulación y las noticias falsas son solo unos de los adelantos de todo lo que nos puede ocurrir en el futuro. Como seres emocionales tenemos un talón de Aquiles que los productos tecnológicos nunca van a tener, así los finja o tenga programas que los simulen muy bien, pero solo serán eso una simulación sofisticada. Allí está nuestra gran debilidad.

Fue una de las mejores conversaciones que tuve con mi ex esposa, aún mejor que cuando estábamos juntos, pues se mostró más inteligente, comprensiva y empática que nunca. Desde hacía un rato largo, no la notaba tan optimista y con un pensamiento tan claro sobre su futuro. Cómo cosa extraña no me ofendió o culpo de nada, debatimos hasta de política, un tema que ella detestaba. Ese día sin duda era otra persona y no lo voy a negar, me volví a enamorar. No era posible un cambio tan drástico en una persona. Mientras se desarrollaba la conversación, algo empezó a molestarme, a tal punto, que me vino la ocurrencia de hacerle una pregunta que para un ser normal era imposible de contestar, para mi sorpresa ella la respondió en segundos. De repente, una desconfianza que se convirtió en miedo invadió mi pensamiento y colgué la llamada bruscamente. No podía ser ella, entonces hice la conexión, seguramente era una inteligencia artificial impostora que no sé cómo y por qué se había hecho pasar por mi esposa.
