Very soon bank robberies will be a thing of the past, digital money will be imposed worldwide, but the owners of money will not be able to extinguish them or take away their value, on the contrary, physical banknotes will be worth much more than they are worth now. Here is my story.
Iñaqui was a thirty-three year old employee with the singularity of being one of the few foreigners of Latino origin -already naturalized- working at the Federal Reserve of the United States (Fed). He had been contacted a year earlier by a group of assailants who were very active in the 1980s.
The reason for establishing such communication was that the group of bandits had a master plan where he was a key player. Today all the members of the gang in question were elderly, but in good physical and mental health, and ready to carry out the masterpiece of robbery.
The other reason for this approach, perhaps the most influential, was that one of these assailants happened to be Iñaqui's partner because he was homosexual, and it was his partner who served as a link for him to meet the rest of his cronies, who first contacted him to propose the plan to see if he was encouraged to participate in it, since he was the one who knew more about technology of the whole gang because he worked as a freelance developer and programmer.
The guy's name was Ramón, he was the youngest of the group and was also of Latin origin and had left the gang precisely because he was a homosexual - old school or reserved, but homosexual nonetheless - so his lifestyle did not fit in with that of the others. When he was contacted and learned of the plan, he put Iñaki in charge, who fortunately for them also had a hustler and bandit streak and was an expert in technology and web 3.0 developer.
The plan was very simple: to steal a considerable amount of the most recent money that had been printed, along with some new tax stamps produced by the mint, before the government gave the order to take the physical dollar out of circulation. This could happen at any moment, so they had to hurry to take advantage of this opportunity.
They had to get their hands on the loot fast, as he himself was an ongoing project for the Fed and most of those bills were going to disappear burned or shredded. The basic plan was to get their hands on the loot and then sell it on the black market and the dark web to collectors, numismatists and philatelists.
Iñaqui's position within the reserve allowed him to anticipate all of the reserve's movements, as he was able to obtain information on when they were going to collect and begin shredding or burning the batches of money in a special crematorium selected for that purpose. They had already bribed several employees, among them two of the drivers, and they were going to tell them the precise moment when they were going to transport the load of bills to the place. At that moment they would carry out the operation.
Admittedly, they were working in perfect synchrony, each member of the group had a year of performing their role discreetly without arousing suspicion. The plan was divided into four phases and each phase was going to have a specific form of communication. They were going to use technology in phase four or the last phase, the other three were: in person, by mail, and through third parties who were total strangers.
In this sense, the previous phases had been a success and they were already in phase four. In order to go unnoticed and catch up in terms of technology, they joined a community that allowed them to have direct communication and also to invest and earn in cryptocurrencies. It was a blockchain based on the very famous web 3.0. There they produced various camouflaged contents, to carry out part of their plan. The name of this Blockchain was Hive Blog. They had a year investing in it and trading and had generated income in a legal way to finance their entire operation.
They had planned their scheme so meticulously and so masterfully that everything they did to prepare the heist generated substantial resources, rather than expense. If there had been an award for the best robbery plan in history, they would undoubtedly have been among the finalists and beware if they had not won. What was certain was that if their plan was successful, they would not only achieve wealth but also worldwide fame, although of course no one would know who they really were.

Saludos cordiales a esta gran familia de escritores y amantes de la literatura. Muy pronto los asaltos a bancos serán cosas del pasado, el dinero digital se impondrá en todo el mundo, pero los dueños del dinero no podrán extinguirlos ni quitarle su valor, por el contrario los billetes físicos valdrán mucho más de lo que valen ahora. Aquí les dejo mi relato.
Iñaqui, era un empleado de treinta y tres años con la singularidad de ser uno de los pocos extranjeros de origen latino -ya nacionalizado- que trabajaba en la Reserva Federal de los Estados Unidos (Fed). Él había sido contactado desde hacía un año por un grupo de asaltantes, que estuvo muy activo en la década de los 80.
La razón para establecer tal comunicación, era que el grupo de bandidos tenían un plan maestro dónde él era una pieza clave. Hoy todos los de la banda en cuestión eran adultos mayores, pero estaban bien de salud física y mental, y dispuestos a realizar la obra maestra de los robos.
La otra razón para ese acercamiento, quizás la más influyente, era que uno de esos asaltantes casualmente era pareja de Iñaqui porque este era homosexual, y fue su pareja la que sirvió de enlace para que conociera al resto de sus compinches, que primero lo contactaron a él para proponerle lo del plan a ver si se animaba a participar en el mismo, ya que era el que sabía más de tecnología de toda la banda porque se desempeñaba como desarrollador y programador independiente.
El sujeto se llamaba Ramón era el más joven del grupo y también era de origen latino y se había alejado de la banda precisamente por su condición de homosexual -de la vieja escuela o sea reservado, pero homosexual al fin- por lo que su estilo de vida no encajaba con el de los otros. Cuando fue contactado y supo del plan, puso a la orden a Iñaki, que por fortuna para ellos también tenía vena de estafador y bandido y era experto en tecnología y desarrollador de web 3.0.
El plan era muy sencillo: robar una cantidad considerable del dinero más reciente que se hubiera imprimido, junto algunos timbres fiscales nuevos elaborados por la casa de monedas, antes de que el gobierno dijera la orden de sacar el dólar físico de circulación. Suceso que podía ocurrir en cualquier momento por lo que tenían que darse prisa para aprovechar esta oportunidad.
Tenían que hacerse del botín rápido, ya que él mismo era un proyecto que estaba en marcha por la Fed y la mayoría de esos billetes iban a desaparecer quemados o despedazados. El plan básico era hacerse con el botín y después venderlo en el mercado negro y la web oscura a coleccionistas, numismáticos y filatélicos.
La posición de Iñaqui dentro de la reserva, le permitía anticipar todos los movimientos de ésta, al poder obtener información de cuándo iban a recolectar y comenzar a triturar o quemar los lotes de dinero en un crematorio especial seleccionado para tal fin. Ya Tenían sobornado a varios empleados entre ellos dos de los choferes y éstos iban avisar el momento preciso en el que transportarán la carga de billetes al lugar. En ese momento harían la operación.
Había que admitirlo, estaban funcionando con una sincronía perfecta, cada miembro del grupo tenía un año realizando su papel de forma discreta sin levantar sospecha. El plan lo dividieron en cuatro fases y cada fase iba a tener una forma específica de comunicación. Ellos iban a usar la tecnología en la fase número cuatro o sea la última, las otras tres eran: en persona, por correo, y a través de terceros que fueran totalmente desconocidos.
En tal sentido, las fases anteriores habían sido un éxito y ya se encontraban en la fase número cuatro. Para pasar desapercibidos y ponerse a nivel en cuanto a tecnología se unieron a una comunidad que permitía tener comunicación directa y además invertir y ganar en criptomonedas. Era una cadena de bloques basada en la web 3.0 muy famosa. Allí producían contenidos variados camuflados, para llevar adelante parte de su plan. El nombre de esta Blockchain era Hive Blog. Tenían un año invirtiendo en ella y haciendo trading y habían generado ingresos de manera legal para financiar toda su operación.
Habían planeado su asalto tan meticulosamente y con tanta maestría, que todo lo que hicieron para preparar el golpe les generó cuantiosos recursos, en vez de ocasionar gastos. Si hubiera habido un premio al mejor plan de la historia para realizar un robo, sin duda alguna ellos hubieran estado entre los finalistas y cuidado si quizas no lo hubieran ganado. Lo cierto era, que si su plan tenía éxito, no solo iban a lograr riqueza sino también mucha fama mundial, aunque por supuesto nadie iba a saber quienes eran en realidad.
