Hello beautiful ladies of hive welcome to another edition of LOH
Contest
Personally I am dignified to be called a woman,thanks a ton to the women of Russia who vied for the National women recognition back then in 1980 and I also express my deep sense of gratitude to president Jimmy Carter who disseminated a proclamation recognising the month of March as national women history month.

Growing up I and my siblings would watch our father maltreat my mother,my mother being not too educated was vulnerable,I and siblings were little we couldn't help her,she was subjected to hard labor like tilling the soil, planting vegetables on acres of land, fetching firewoods miles away from home and fetching water from the stream. if she doesn't do it right she will get seriously beaten by my father and she dare not retaliate nor alter a word.
In the dead of the night my mother after a little or no meal will sit under the moon singing a dirge beckoning on her dead parents to come take her along for she was miserable.
I got tired of being a girl,I wanted to be a woman so I can defend my mother, I wanted to be a woman who wouldn't shiver at the mere voice of a man! , a woman free from stigmatisation and discrimination, I wanted my voice to be heard!
I have chosen not to be compunctious for my femaleness and my feminism, yes! I love being a woman and I believe in being strong when everything seems to be tough and I refuse to be treated as a second class citizen by my opposite gender.
I love being a woman because I can be who I want and what I want ,diverse from when women were barred from certain professions or role that provides power or wealth , when a woman's only responsibility was producing children and doing domestic chores , when a woman wasn't allowed to see the four walls of education!!
I love being a woman because we can withstand any pain, despite all the discrimination from the society we still flap our broken wings and soar higher above all hypothesis.

Hola bellas damas de hive bienvenidas a una edici贸n m谩s de LOH

Personalmente, me siento digna de ser llamada mujer, muchas gracias a las mujeres de Rusia que compitieron por el reconocimiento nacional femenino en aquel entonces en 1980 y tambi茅n expreso mi profundo sentimiento de gratitud al presidente Jimmy Carter, quien difundi贸 una proclama reconociendo el mes de Marzo como mes nacional de la historia de la mujer.
Al crecer, mis hermanos y yo ve铆amos a nuestro padre maltratar a mi madre, mi madre, al no tener demasiada educaci贸n, era vulnerable, yo y mis hermanos 茅ramos peque帽os, no pod铆amos ayudarla, la somet铆an a trabajos duros como labrar la tierra, plantar vegetales en acres de tierra, a buscar le帽a a kil贸metros de casa y a buscar agua del arroyo. Si no lo hace bien, mi padre la golpear谩 seriamente y ella no se atrever谩 a tomar represalias ni a alterar una palabra.
En la oscuridad de la noche, mi madre, despu茅s de un poco o nada de comida, se sentaba bajo la luna cantando un canto f煤nebre llamando a sus padres muertos para que vinieran a llevarla con ella porque se sent铆a miserable.
隆Me cans茅 de ser ni帽a, quer铆a ser mujer para poder defender a mi madre, quer铆a ser una mujer que no temblar铆a ante la sola voz de un hombre! , una mujer libre de estigmatizaci贸n y discriminaci贸n, 隆quer铆a que mi voz fuera escuchada!
Amo ser mujer porque puedo ser quien quiero y lo que quiero, a diferencia de cuando a las mujeres se les prohib铆a ciertas profesiones o roles que proporcionaban poder o riqueza, cuando la 煤nica responsabilidad de una mujer era tener hijos y hacer tareas dom茅sticas, cuando una mujer 隆隆No se le permiti贸 ver las cuatro paredes de la educaci贸n!!
Me encanta ser mujer porque podemos soportar cualquier dolor, a pesar de toda la discriminaci贸n de la sociedad todav铆a batimos nuestras alas rotas y nos elevamos m谩s alto por encima de todas las hip贸tesis.
