What mona-H148498 saw in the mirror, was the image of a robot who would do anything to make humans survive, this was her destiny although this term only used for humans but now that robots gained emotional intelligence nearly the same as humans, it was not necessary to bother with what term is used for who. They were their creators after all and they lived in peace with each other.
“Do you think they will let us go after Dr. Fezzz and fight the lunar creatures?” Mona-H148498 said while staring at the mirror, she was looking at the body of a robot without a left arm.
“We are human right activist after all, if we are not going to save humans then who will? We are at the year 5100, anything is possible. If they choose us, we will fight until the end. Humans are strong at least Dr. Fezzz is. He and his team survived the most horrific natural disaster, the flood!” Marya-F124569 said while laying in bed staring at the ceiling and playing with a ball.
“Most humans died in that flood, only few elite left and there is us, we have to find a way to make Earth peaceful again without those Martians and those Lunar Creatures. We can’t let the lunar creatures make a monster with Dr. Fezzz’s DNA, who knows what will come off it!” Mona-H148498 said while still looking inside the mirror, as if she was looking for something, she moved her gaze from her left non- existent arm and this time, it was her eyes she was staring at.
“Well, we have to see what decision the jury of The Good Kind makes about this, it is a human rights organization after all, and it’s their job to care,” Marya-F124569 said while it was getting hard to control the ball. The ball went straight towards the mirror and it shattered it into little pieces.
Marya-F124569 and Mona-H148498 looked at each other for a moment.
“Do you think this will be our last fight? That we get switched off and recycled? Our previous fight with those radical Martians was so difficult, and you lost your left arm, we were almost losing and becoming their slaves to work on the lands they captured in North America!!” Mona-H148498 said while gathering the pieces of the mirror from the ground while Marya-F124569 was helping her.
“We are switched off, Only if we are faced with irreparable damage to our system, we don’t know what will happen and those Martians were savage beasts, they don’t let humans’ breathe with their constant attacks,” Marya-F124569 said while throwing the little pieces of mirror inside the garbage bin.
“This is all because of the mutation that lunar creatures went through, they became savages looking only for their own good and the dictatorship they are after is not something that the jury will brush off easily” Mona-H148498 said this and their conversation was interrupted by a phone call from the jury of The Good Kind. They were summoned there.
The earth had become inhabitable to the species that lived on other planets like mars and moon. They were frequent visitors to earth and not all of them wanted peace. Peace and its concept was unfamiliar to lunar creatures (creatures with the body of humans but wings like bats). They had an insatiable thirst for power and destruction.
The Good Kind was a private organization that Dr. Fezzz worked for in the department of anti-aging technology and their aim was to protect and prolong the species of humans. The jury consisted of 15 humans and 15 robots, they discussed saving Dr. Fezzz from the capture of lunar creatures.
“We have chosen two robots, mona-H148498 and Marya-F124569, to go after Dr. Fezzz,” the head of the jury said.
“They showed so much bravery in the fight with those radical Martians, we certainly need such loyal robots and Dr. Fezzz is one of the leading scientist of anti-aging for human species, we can’t lose him. They have to go immediately, we can’t let the lunar creatures to synthesize a monster, we can’t let his DNA into the hands of those creatures” the head of the jury continued while showing Mona-H148498 and Maria F124569’s list of successful missions on a wide screen with some graphs and statistics of their success rate. Their scores were excellent.
“We all agree to send them on this mission” they all said collectively.
Dr. Fezzz was working on an update to the anti-aging injection that the human survivors took regularly in order to stay alive, if he wouldn’t have come back, humans start to age rapidly and the species of man would decline so fast. It was only matter of months. They couldn’t risk losing Dr.Fezzz, so they had to send the bravest robots they had on their team and mona-H148498 and Marya-F124569 were on the top of their list. Robots wanted to live in peace with humans, that’s why Mona-H148498 and Marya-F124569 were fighting so badly to keep the peace. Every being has the right to choose to be happy and live their own life but not trespass the other’s boundaries. The lunar creatures didn’t accept that and were attempting genetic manipulation which was crime.
Dr. Jennifer Fezzz who was Dr. Fezzz’s wife worked in the department of bio inspired AI (artificial intelligence), she created a bee robot that could sting lunar creatures and a blue poisonous liquid was injected to their body, this made them die. Marya- F124569 and Mona-H148498’s job was to spread this bee robot in the lunar creature’s station to sting them and kill them and Dr. Jennifer’s job was to monitor and send those bees to the station.
They gathered up their equipment and were ready to fight. They reached the station. The security of lunar creatures were guarding the station. They sent out the bee robots to sting the guards and the bees brought death upon them. They entered the station and found Dr.Fezzz in one of the labs for DNA synthetization.
Dr. Fezzz was freed but the synthesized Dr. Fezzz was in the lab wandering around and because the bees were designed to sting lunar creatures, it didn’t work on him because he was a genetically made creature that was synthesized from the DNA of several humans including Dr. Fezzz and also the lunar creatures’ DNA. They mixed everything up and created a monster. Dr. Fezzz, Mona, Maria and Jennifer and their team got into a fight with the synthesized creature whose name was F1. In their fight, he captured Jennifer as hostage.
F1 escaped from the lab and headed towards the woods but he was not aware that his footprint was on the muddy ground. F1 was big and powerful, twice the height of humans and very intelligent.
“Do you think he wants to breed on his own, that’s why he captured Jennifer,” Mona said.
“Most probably, that’s all they want, we can’t let that creature stay alive. He is a monster,” Dr. Fezzz said.
They followed the F1’s footprint into the woods and they arrived at a little cottage, a secluded place. Silence was the only thing that kept that place alive. Only the sound of birds and the wind was heard.
They get inside the cottage, there is no one there. The only thing that was heard was the cries of F1 growling coming from the basement. They slowly walk down the stairs. F1 realized that someone was there so he hid himself to attack them. They saw Jennifer tied to a chair.
Jennifer who was frightened sees them, her eyes full of tears. She was mouth tied with a white cloth, so all she could do was mumbling unclear sounds as if tried to warn them about the F1’s coming for them.
They see each other and they fight, F1 ripped Mona and Marya apart. Dr. Fezzz untied Jennifer and she escaped from the basement and Dr. Fezzz fought F1 with an ax and killed him. Only Dr. Fezzz and Jennifer survived.
Dr.Fezzz brought Mona and Marya for recycling.
“Mona and Marya sacrificed their lives to save the human race. The humans live in peace until their next battle,” Dr Fezz said to the jury of the The Good Kind.
