Which cryptocurrency wallets would you recommend?

Hello, Steemians.

I've just got into this cryptocurrency world and researched various types of wallets such as online, mobile, desktop, hardware and paper etc.

I understand hardware and paper type are considered the safest, but I wonder which wallets people usually use and why. (It seems the hardware is sold out anyway)

Which one would you recommend for a beginner like me? Please share what you think. I'd like to search and try one.

Thanks! :)
