THE MARRIAGE OF MY DREAMS.
Dear singles, it is normal for you to fantasize about the kind marriage of marriage you desire, the kind of home you want, the kind of husband or wife you wish to be to your spouse. It is actually something wonderful to do because it will help you have a mental picture of what you want for your marriage.
Now one thing you need to understand as a single is that the marriage of your dreams doesn't begin the day you get married but it begins in your singlehood, I mean your unmarried days.
Having the marriage of your dreams starts with how you live and build yourself up as a single.
The marriage of your dreams is a continuation of your singlehood.
Now the question you need to ask yourself is how are my living as a single in order to help my marriage?. Think about this.
You have a dream of being a God fearing and faithful spouse but even as a single, are you God fearing and faithful?
As a single lady you have a dream that when I get married I don't want to be a nagging and insultive wife to my husband but now that you are still single you find yourself always nagging and insulting your friends with abusive languages. Who says you won't play the same role in marriage.
As a single gentleman you tell yourself daily that "I, my wife and my unborn children will not suffer in poverty". That's very nice but what are you doing to make that dream a reality. Being jobless and irresponsible will just make you, your wife and children suffer greater than you even imagined when that time comes.
As a single you have a dream of clean and neat matrimonial home but your small bedroom as a single is a trash bin. Okay so you think when you get married it won't still be the same thing in your matrimonial home. I tell you your matrimonial home will also be a trash bin.
Your lifestyle now as a single should not be an opposite of who you want to be in the marriage of your dreams. Don't just visualise the kind of marriage you want for yourself, add some action to that vision to make it a reality.
Don't forget that your habits both good and bad won't change because you are getting married, only your status will change from single to married. You will still remain YOU. Your bad habits and way of life will still replay in marriage if left uncorrected now that you are still single.
As much as you visualise what you want in marriage start working on it now for the future.
Your marriage is only a continuation of your singlehood days. The marriage of your dreams begins now.
