It's time to be part of a new Weekend commitment and it is to create content for the [week #138] of #weekend-engagement, where the friend @galenkp brought us different topics, the truth that this time I was undecided or did not know which one to choose, but thinking well in a situation that happened a few days ago I leaned towards the one that says, if I regretted having told the truth.
I am one of those who think that telling the truth is always going to be the best thing to do and that in general I always say what I think and what I do, what happened, happened and there is no turning back. However, there are things that it is better to keep silent and keep my mouth shut.
Days ago I have a really embarrassing situation, I have an elderly guy, but who looks like a turkey, who had not taken any woman home to live and recently took one, who apparently, according to evil tongues, they say she is not a saintly dove. They always have problems and he ends up leaving the house.

My uncle says he doesn't want her in the house, but since she is alcoholic, even though she is almost half his age, he feels bad about leaving her on the street. Last weekend, we were with the family at some cultural activities in the city and I saw the woman in question with another man, she was drunk and didn't even recognize me, the worst thing was that I saw them going into a hotel.
Since they already know how she is at home, I tell my mom and my brother, they tell me to tell my uncle, which I didn't want to do, because getting into couple problems is losing out. Just after I told them, my uncle and the woman arrived, that he had found her drunk, so as not to leave her in the street he brought her, but he didn't want her in his room.
Mami, seeing the spectacle, tells him what I told her. My uncle only said, "I thought so. The woman told him that they only went into the hotel because she needed to go to the bathroom. And after a couple of justifications, they walk around together.
I didn't tell the truth at all, I would have kept quiet, I looked prettier. Now that woman will look at me with a bad face every time I go home. This had never happened to me before, but I was ashamed for my uncle. Now yes, you learn from experiences, although I was not the one who told her. That will remain for history.
It is not a pretty story, but it leaves a lesson or reflection, no one learns from someone else's head. However, I am still confident that telling the truth will almost always be the best option, because as you will see, this time it was not so.
Greetings and blessings my dear readers, I hope you enjoyed the weekend and get ready for a new week of well-being.
