Splinterlands Art Contest || Nerissa Tridawn

Greetings everyone and happy Eid to all Muslims on Hive. I hope you're all having a pleasant day/night wherever you are.
I had a very busy day, chores, art, errands and all but I'm happy I could find time to finish this work I started a few days back for week 237 of the splinterlands art contest.

Saludos a todos y feliz Eid a todos los musulmanes de Hive. Espero que estéis teniendo un buen día/noche donde quiera que estéis.
Tuve un día muy ocupado, tareas, arte, recados y todo, pero estoy feliz de haber podido encontrar tiempo para terminar este trabajo que empecé hace unos días para la semana 237 del concurso de arte splinterlands.

For this round I chose to make a fanart of Nerissa Tridawn, she's the defender of the seas, rivers and lakes. She is armed with her magical trident and always ready to help those in need. I think this is the second time I'm painting this card. Shes a strong character, I love her hair,the colours generally, just perfect.

Para esta ronda he elegido hacer un fanart de Nerissa Tridawn, es la defensora de los mares, ríos y lagos. Va armada con su tridente mágico y siempre está dispuesta a ayudar a los necesitados. Creo que es la segunda vez que pinto esta carta. Es un personaje fuerte, me encanta su pelo, los colores en general, simplemente perfecto.

Process

Proceso

I used my picture and some references on Instagram to create this one. I did the sketching and it was quite easy and quick.
I picked out all the colours I intended to use to avoid wasting time before I went ahead to paint her skin. I chose a similar colour for her hair and clothes, I really love the original work because it has many shades of blue which made my work quite smooth.

Utilicé mi foto y algunas referencias en Instagram para crear este. Hice el boceto y fue bastante fácil y rápido.
Elegí todos los colores que iba a utilizar para no perder tiempo antes de pintar su piel. Elegí un color similar para el pelo y la ropa. Me encanta la obra original porque tiene muchos tonos de azul, lo que suavizó bastante mi trabajo.

I went ahead to paint her trident, it's a very important part of her, I painted her facial features and added lighter and darker highlights to her skin. The neck area was a bit challenging but I'm glad I figure it out. I went for an easy outfit, I love the design so much and painting in the details was really easy. I then added more details and strands to her hair, I thought it would be nice to add braids somewhere and I did😄 I haven't painted braids in ages and I'm glad this came out great, the surprise and smile on my face haha 😊 I painted her ornaments and added details to them, I also added more designs to her horn and painted the gem hanging from it. I painted the glow around her trident and added some glow to her face, hands, hair and other parts of her clothing, it looked good. Finally, I chose a brush and did a simple pattern for the background.

Seguí adelante pintando su tridente, es una parte muy importante de ella, pinté sus rasgos faciales y añadí reflejos más claros y más oscuros a su piel. La zona del cuello me costó un poco, pero me alegro de haberlo conseguido. Me decanté por un traje sencillo, me encanta el diseño y pintar los detalles fue muy fácil. Luego añadí más detalles y mechones a su pelo, pensé que estaría bien añadir trenzas en alguna parte y lo hice😄 Hacía años que no pintaba trenzas y me alegro de que esto saliera genial, la sorpresa y la sonrisa en mi cara jaja 😊 Pinté sus adornos y les añadí detalles, también añadí más diseños a su cuerno y pinté la gema que cuelga de él. Pinté el brillo alrededor de su tridente y añadí algo de brillo a su cara, manos, pelo y otras partes de su ropa, quedó bien. Por último, elegí un pincel e hice un dibujo sencillo para el fondo.
