I’ve been seeing lots of fashion pins on my Pinterest feed lately so I decided to draw two that caught my eyes.

The first drawing is a girl wearing a crop top with really loose, baggy trousers, long flowing hair and holding a bag. I like how oversized trousers sit on the body and for this one, it did changed the whole look of the outfit.

There was much fabric and folds to draw and I just played around with the shading around the waist, hips, knees, and ankles.

I also started another drawing, but this time I only focused on the lower half of the body. I wanted to try a different type of baggy trouser I saw and see how the folds and shape would look without worrying about the rest of the figure. This fabric is loose and lighter than the other..

I had so many things to figure out for these drawings. Where does the fabric bunch up? How loose should they actually be? And how do you make them look baggy without making the legs disappear completely?

I’m still figuring it out, but I actually enjoyed drawing the clothes more than I expected. Maybe I need to do this often...
