Cafe Leche is located at 217 Bonifacio Street, Baguio City. We visited this place to check it out. They have just recently opened so we were curious as to what they can offer.

The building where the cafe is located is new. There is cafe and a furniture shop at the ground level. While the building looks nice and modern, it lacks landscaping. Maybe because it is still new that's why they haven't thought about that. Entering the cafe, it gives off that warmth and welcoming vibe because of the lighting that were used and the wooden frames to accent the ceiling. The furniture have light tone. The seats are comforting. The design of some of the tables matches that of the tiles of the floor. The walls are of light greyish tone but have texture. The floor to ceiling windows bring in natural light giving the ambiance a relaxing mood.

The cafe has two floors. After checking out the cakes and pastries they have (which I haven't had a chance to photograph), we then headed to the second floor. It's wider and has more seats. The place is air-conditioned too which was a welcoming respite from the heat outside.

The view is not something that I am enthusiastic about because it's just old houses and the road below.

It is a warm day and we just came from Sam's so we needed a refreshment. (Check out this video below that I made when we were at Sam's or my post about it.)

There aren't that many choices for drinks so I settled for Salted Caramel Coffee and my partner Macha Green Tea. We had both of those iced. I was not up for any cakes or pastries but I was curious about the Trio Leche.

You have to pay right away before they serve the orders and our orders didn't take long to arrive.

One thing worth mentioning is the straw that we used for our drinks were made out of plants as what was stated in the packaging. I like that they try to do away with plastic.

When I had my first sip of the salted caramel, I was able to taste that and the bitterness of coffee. However, once I mixed my drink to hopefully get all the caramel sticking on the glass to mix with my drink, it lost that caramel taste. I was left with just a hint of caramel but more of the bitterness of coffee. My partner couldn't finish the macha green tea but said that it tasted okay.

The trio leche comes in a cute tiny jar and you can see all the ingredients piled in there. I was a bit disappointed though for there is nothing more to it than just taste of milk and sugar. There's nothing special about it. I also don't like the texture of it. It's soggy and spongy. Maybe if it was served freshly made then it would have been something else.

Would I go back? Yes but not right away. There are still a lot in their menu that one should try but I would stay away from what I have tasted so far. I couldn't base my verdict alone on what I have ordered that time.
