Rainy season is a hard season for me to sell cold snacks. I sell Mambo Ice. In the dry season, I always sell a lot of sticks of ice, but in the rainy season, the volume of the sales drops sharply.
I will not resist selling this product in this rainy season. I am trying to make a new product that may be good in rainy season. The product is called Stik bawang ( Garlic sticks).
I pack the sticks in small package. I sell them for IDR 2,000 a pack. Today is the first day that I will be introducing my new product to my customer.

Stik Bawang is a fried snack made from tapioca starch and wheat flour. The main ingredient is garlic. That is why it is called stik bawang. Stik means sticks and bawang means garlic.

In the first production, I did not make too many products. I only make 40 packs. IDR 80,000 is for 40 packs. The cost of production is around IDR 40,000.
I also plan to put the product in small food and retailer stores. Yet, I need more cash to make a lot of packs. I'm hoping that after testing, customers will like my products. It is not easy to introduce new food products to customers. Customers will criticize the taste the first time they try my product.
I test my product on my kids. When they asked for more stik bawang, it means that the food is marketable. My kids will not like food that I make when the taste is not good. They do not want to eat more and more. I think kids are honest creatures. Thanks for reading my post, I hope you enjoy it.
