The Dragonfly Meadow.
Hello Hive friends, this is your friend Leas. I'm sharing a post that I hope you enjoy, always hoping you're having a spectacular start to the week.
Imagine a sunny Sunday, surrounded by green fields and wildflowers where the air is a soft hum of insects and the birdsong inspires a deep sigh that made me think of a meadow full of dragonflies, which I named after them.
I went birdwatching as usual; the day was so pleasant it seemed magical. There were many dragonflies of all types and colors around the dam. One in particular caught my attention because of its large, blue eyes and its tiny, slender body, like a model, which forms a heart shape in its mating dance.
Now connected with nature, that feeling of relaxation began. The day was almost magical. I felt the fresh, soft, damp grass beneath my feet, wetting the edges of my pants and shoes. Wildflowers swayed gently in the rhythm of the cool breeze that caressed my face, and dragonflies fluttered around me in puddles or perched on leaves and stems, where I could admire their beauty up close and take a few photos of their slender, shimmering bodies reflecting the dawn light in shades of blue, yellow, green, and red.
When I closed my eyes for a moment, I felt a peace in the place that made me want to stay longer after all the wonderful experiences I had there. These places aren't only home to dragonflies; you can also see butterflies dancing among the flowers, and the occasional bird, including herons, in flight or swooping down after finding a small fish or frog for their breakfast. As I delve deeper into this amazing place, enjoying my walk, thoughts come to mind like… if only I knew how to paint, or write poems, but my best action is to capture this admirable moment.
At the end of the day, I close my eyes and think about the dragonfly meadow, and the memories of a feeling of calm and connection with nature.
If you ever have the opportunity to visit a place like this, don't hesitate. This walk is not only revitalizing, but it also makes us think about the wonderful beings that inhabit it and reminds us of the importance of caring for our natural environment.
Dragonflies are amazing creatures that need a healthy environment to live. By preserving their habitat and promoting sustainable practices, we can help these wonders of nature continue to fly in our landscapes.
That's all for my post. I look forward to your comments so we can continue to connect in this community. Thank you.
Best regards, Until the next post.
Good afternoon and good luck.
