Unlike these days, then it was fun having the moon pop up in the sky. For bravery and intelligence, we would keep watch on the sky when it gets to the end of the month to know the exact day and time the moon would appear but no one ever won that accolade because just suddenly you will see the dazzling light of the moon in the sky after when everyone has been carried away with one activity or the other. To know the exact day the moon has been in the sky without our notice, we would get a lining or wool sieve to watch through and as many lines it makes indicates the number of days the moon has shown up and afterward a gathering for moonlight stories...
Things they said happen for a reason but why nature does not reward everyone equally even when it claims to be impartial is just what I can’t explain. At some point in life, you just keep wondering why certain things happen and to the People they happen to.
