Tengo trabajo nuevo [ESP/ENG]

Saludos mi querida comunidad de catarsis, les traigo buenas nuevas 😊.
Después de 4 años en los que he venido trabajando por mi cuenta con Marketing digital me topé con la oportunidad de trabajar y ejercer mi profesión como administradora, saben que el tema en Venezuela desde hace rato se ha puesto rudo con los salarios y por eso muchas personas como yo optaron por emprender un negocio propio y otros emigraron para buscar un futuro mejor.

Greetings, my dear catharsis community, I bring you good news 😊.
After 4 years of working on my own with digital marketing, I stumbled upon an opportunity to work and practice my profession as an administrator. As you may know, the situation in Venezuela has been tough with salaries for a while, which is why many people like me chose to start their own businesses or emigrated in search of a better future.

Hace una semana me ofrecieron hacer unas vacaciones a una gerente en un centro comercial de mi ciudad Valencia con la posibilidad de quedarme para manejar otro negocio luego de que ella vuelva y pues, me sentía entre nerviosa y emocionada porque tenía muchos años sin ir a una entrevista de trabajo, pero confiando en mis habilidades y gran experiencia que he acumulado me concedieron el trabajo el cual empecé ayer .

A week ago, I was offered a temporary position as a manager at a shopping center in my city, Valencia, with the possibility of taking over another business when the current manager returns. I was feeling a mix of nervousness and excitement because it had been many years since I went to a job interview. However, I had confidence in my skills and the extensive experience I had gained, and I was granted the job, which I started yesterday.

Me siento agradecida y muy afortunada porque no todo el mundo tiene la fortuna de hacer un trabajo que le guste, cerca de casa y bien remunerado.

I feel grateful and very fortunate because not everyone has the opportunity to do a job they enjoy, close to home, and well-paid.

Lo mejor de todo es que puedo compaginarlo con mi trabajo en RRSS que no lo hago sola, mi esposo es mi socio y él como comunicador social, diseñador y fotógrafo tiene la experiencia y la capacidad para afrontar un poco más de responsabilidad mientras yo cumplo está nueva función.

The best part is that I can balance this with my work on social media, which I don't do alone; my husband is my partner, and with his background as a communications professional, designer, and photographer, he has the experience and capacity to take on more responsibilities while I fulfill this new role.

Aquí voy a hacer de todo un poco, manejo de personal, nómina, monitoreo de sistemas, atención de clientes y pues responsabilizarme de todo lo que suceda aquí, ya los nervios se han ido y sólo queda la emoción y la satisfacción porque estoy aprendiendo a manejar un sistema de control de acceso de estacionamiento, cosa que nunca había hecho y como todo, la práctica hace al maestro.

In my new position, I'll be doing a bit of everything, including personnel management, payroll, system monitoring, and customer service. I'll be responsible for everything that happens here. The initial nerves have subsided, leaving only excitement and satisfaction because I'm learning to operate a parking access control system, something I've never done before. As with everything, practice makes perfect.

La gerente (a quien le voy a hacer las vacaciones) es una chica muy profesional, amable y conoce muy bien el negocio, tengo la suerte de ser entrenada por alguien que realmente conoce el trabajo, eso me da una buena base para quedarme remando sola un tiempo.

The manager I'll be covering for during her vacation is a very professional and friendly person who knows the business well. I'm lucky to be trained by someone who truly understands the job, which gives me a solid foundation for handling things on my own for a while.

Luego les iré contando cómo va mi proceso, espero que no tenga anécdotas desagradables para contarles jajaja.

I'll keep you updated on how my journey goes, and I hope there won't be any unpleasant anecdotes to share with you, haha.

En lo personal les cuento que tuve algo de miedo al momento de la entrevista y casi lo dejo pasar, pero yo me dije que sí podía hacerlo y que recordara de dónde vengo, de todo lo que he aprendido y así fue que en la entrevista me solté y aquí en la oficina también, así que como consejo les digo que cuando pasen por una situación así, respiren y recuerden algún momento difícil de sus vidas y cómo lograron superarlos y se darán cuenta que sí pueden con ese nuevo desafío.

On a personal note, I want to tell you that I had some fear during the interview, and I almost let it pass me by. But I told myself that I could do it and to remember where I come from and all that I've learned. So, during the interview, I loosened up, and I've continued to do so here in the office. As advice, I'd say that when you find yourself in a similar situation, take a deep breath, recall a challenging moment from your life and how you overcame it. You'll realize that you can handle this new challenge.
