Hi,friends today I give easy,tasty and simple to ready RASAM recipe that is TOMATO RASAM.
In this recipe I don't use any dal and tamarind also.Hear I use only tomatos and some spicy herbs that's all.
The tomato rasam can be had with rice or with medu vadas or idlis. you can likewise have it plain as a soup with some warm or toasted bread. its useful for cool and furthermore for assimilation. INGREDIENTS :-
- Tomatos. : 8- 9 red and juicy
- water : 1-2 cup
-Salt : as required
FOR SPICY HERB POWDER :-
- Coriander stem : 1/2 cup
- Ginger : 1/2 inch
- Black Pepper : 8-9
- Cumin seeds. : 1 table spoon
FOR TAMPERING :-
- Oil : 1 table spoon
- Curry leaves : 1 bunch
- Asafetida : pinch
- Urad dal : 1 tea spoon
- Red chillies : 2-3 broken
- Turmeric powder : 1/2 tea spoon
PREPARATION. :-
STEP 1 :-
For this first we flush 9-10 medium estimated red tomatoes in running water for 3-4 times. whiten or steam the tomatoes in a steamer, microwave stove or in a pot. deplete and keep aside for them to cool.
STEP 2 :
After it cool completed then we take tomatoes and mix them to get a smooth puree. on the off chance that you need you can dispose of the peel and seeds. I normally don't.
STEP 3 :-
Then we take 1 tbsp cumin seed, 10-12 dark pepper, 1 inch ginger, 8-9 garlic and ½ glass coriander stems you can keep a few leaves on the off chance that you need.
STEP 4 :-
