Two symbols of a place | Dos símbolos de un lugar [ ENG/ESP ]
The first photo shows a woman with spear and shield, bathed in gold, is the well-known Statue of the Republic (Cuba), its author is the Italian Angelo Zanelli. It is considered the third tallest indoor statue in the world (it is located in the Capitol of Havana), after the Golden Buddha of Nova, in Japan; and the statue of Abraham Lincoln, in the memorial of the same name in Washington, United States.
The second snapshot comes from the courtyard of the same place. Havana is one of the few cities on the planet where a monument to Satan, the so-called King of Darkness, was placed. Its author was the Italian Salvatore Buemi and it is made of bronze.
Symbols: What are they? The dictionary says it is, a relationship of identity with a reality, generally abstract, which it evokes or represents.
La primera foto muestra, una mujer con lanza y escudo, bañada en oro, es la conocida Estatua de la República (Cuba), su autor es, el italiano Ángelo Zanelli. Es considerada la tercera estatua bajo techo más alta del mundo (se encuentra en el Capitolio de La Habana), después del Buda de Oro de Nova, en Japón; y la estatua de Abraham Lincoln, en el memorial del mismo nombre en Washington, Estados Unidos.
La segunda instantánea, llega desde el patio del mismo lugar. La Habana una de las pocas ciudades en el planeta donde se colocó un monumento a Satanás, el llamado Rey de las Tinieblas. Su autor fue el italiano Salvatore Buemi y está realizada en bronce.
Los símbolos ¿Qué son? El diccionario dice es, una relación de identidad con una realidad, generalmente abstracta, a la que evoca o representa.
