Rise Slow 路 Kimo Sounds

Hoy mi domingo musical. Rise Slow 路 Kimo Sounds

"No one saw the nights I held my ground
No one heard me when I made no sound
I didn't need the light to find my way
I just kept moving through the dark each day"

Today is my musical Sunday. Rise Slow 路 Kimo Sounds

Today is my musical Sunday, and I bring you something that is, as we say here in my country, hot off the press. Well, to be honest, I had never published or written anything related to this musical genre, which for me is kind of new. I can't deny that the rhythm is catchy, but the best part of all is the lyrics. Honestly, when I listened to it, I had no clue what the lyrics were saying, so I immediately researched it鈥擨 didn't stay curious.

The song is called "Rise Slow" by Kimo Sounds. It belongs to a genre that blends Deep House with smooth electronic music. At first, you listen to it and the beat instantly hooks you, but when I started translating the lyrics, I found one of those messages that really makes you think, or well, makes you reflect, because it has very straightforward lyrics.

The song talks about resilience and how one grows and overcomes things in life at their own pace, without putting on any show鈥攁nd you know I criticize that, because honestly, Venezuelans can be quite attention-seeking. Plus, the lyrics aren't looking for anyone's approval. Above all, it focuses on those internal struggles you carry quietly, during the nights when no one sees or hears you, but you keep pushing forward day after day. I really liked it because it reminds us that there's no need to be in a rush; the important thing is to get up, even if it's slow, but with steady steps.

There is a part of Kimo Sounds' lyrics that caught my attention, and I quote:

"No one saw the nights I held my ground
No one heard me when I made no sound
I didn't need the light to find my way
I just kept moving through the dark each day"

Sometimes we need to listen to tracks like this to remember that true processes take time and are much more appreciated, and that everyone moves at their own pace.
