Auto shadow

Here I am once again, participating—and today I’m sharing an image I took just yesterday. Though it may seem simple, it holds a moment full of meaning.

Every shadow has its story. This one, for example, was cast just as the day was beginning.

I captured it right before starting a routine that, for me, is sacred: taking my daughters—my youngest to school, and my eldest to university. That moment in the parking lot, with the morning shadows stretching long across the pavement, reminded me that each day begins with purpose… but best of all, with the company of my daughters.

That seemingly ordinary instant became a scene worth capturing thanks to the curious and creative eye of my youngest, who always sees beyond the obvious—and every time she remembers the contest, she reminds me of it.

As always, with that spark of creativity that defines her, she said: “Dad, that shadow is perfect for the contest.” And, as always, she was right. She sees what we often overlook.

So here it is: a snapshot that shows not only light and shadow, but also the love that moves me every day.

Participating in the Shadow Hunter contest, I leave this image as a testament that even in the everyday, there is beauty—if you look with your heart.

Auto sombra

Aquí estoy nuevamente participando y hoy comparto una imagen que tome ayer, aunque parece simple, guarda un momento lleno de significado.

Cada sombra tiene su historia, esta, por ejemplo, se proyectó justo cuando el día apenas comenzaba

La tomé justo antes de iniciar una rutina que para mí es sagrada: llevar a mis hijas, mi hija menor al colegio y mi hija mayor a la universidad, ese instante en el estacionamiento, con las sombras alargadas de la mañana, me recordó que cada día comienza con propósito, pero lo mejor de todo con la compañía de mis hijas.

Ese instante, aparentemente común, se convirtió en una escena digna de capturar gracias a la mirada curiosa y creativa de mi hija menor, que siempre ve más allá y siempre o mejor dicha cada vez que se acuerda del concurso me lo recuerda.

Mi hija menor, como siempre, con esa chispa creativa que la caracteriza, me dijo: Papá, esa sombra está perfecta para el concurso, y como siempre tenía razón, ella ve lo que a veces uno pasa por alto.

Así que aquí está: una captura que no solo muestra luz y sombra, sino también el amor que me mueve cada día.

Participando en el concurso Cazador de sombras, dejo esta imagen como testimonio de que incluso en lo cotidiano hay belleza, si se mira con el corazón.

Venezuela brillará siempre, a pesar de su oscuro gobierno.
