When I was starting in photography, a friend got tired of explaining to me what vanishing points are, because I didn’t understand it in class.
So, as an inside joke, every time we are doing anything, he asks me, “Where is the vanishing point of that painting?” or even the vanishing point that a passerby is crossing.
It has really helped me understand it, and not with words, but when taking a photograph.
