Helly Steemit!
Last weekend I travelled to Morelia, Michoacán and had a lot of fun! One of the things that I enjoy every time I visit a place is to have a good coffee or hot beverage. In this case I asked for a Mexican coffee named ¨Café de Olla¨which you can find all around Mexico.
What I liked the most in this special occasion was that the restaurant gave me a black coffee (American Coffee) and the ingredients separately, by the way in a white cup and not in a clay pot as it is usually served this type of coffee. But I think that was more to do with the restaurant´s design concept ;p
So what is Café de Olla? It is a traditional coffee from Mexico, which by the way in this case it was produced in Michoacán! and tastes very sweet because it has piloncillo (from the cane sugar), cinnamon and in this restaurant they also added chocolate (100% organic from the State of Michoacán), lastly but also special is a slice of orange peel that gives a very nice flavor and aroma to the mix.
Once, everything is mixed, the result is a delicious, soft, sweet flavor for a cozy cloudy afternoon in the front of the Alameda, downtown Morelia. I truly recommend this kind of experiences to ours senses!
I will keep talking about my trip so don´t hesitate to follow me, upvote and reestem!
