I'm currently watching the anime Castlevania on a recommendation, and it's one of those animes that hooks you from the first episode. I'm only on season 2, but I'll keep watching it and will probably share my opinion again. For now, I can say that I loved its design, its animation, and the way the animators pay attention to every detail. The way they work the reflections and backgrounds in each scene is impressive; truly spectacular.
As for the plot, the immense sadness they manage to convey in Dracula over the death of his wife is profound. His desire to destroy the world for "love" is a powerful and well-executed concept.
I know the anime is based on a video game, although I haven't had the chance to play it yet. Maybe I'll try it later, but I've heard that its creators were very faithful in both the anime and game adaptations, taking care of the details and maintaining great consistency between the two.
The quality of their animation within the fantasy genre is admirable.
If I had to criticize anything, it would be the way Dracula dies. He's an extremely powerful being, and he actually died of his own free will; he decided to have his son kill him. Because, realistically, no one could have stopped him.
Castlevania has a unique style that distinguishes it from many traditional anime. Unlike series like Attack on Titan or Demon Slayer, its animation is more fluid and cinematic, with brutal and meticulously detailed action.
It's a perfect combination of action and horror—I love it
Something worth noting—and perhaps not everyone agrees—is that I'm not a fan of churches due to the controversy that sometimes surrounds them and certain things we hear. That's why I find it interesting to see anime portraying how bizarre beliefs can become, to the point where, believing themselves to be right in their faith and their supposed "goodness," some commit horrific acts convinced they're doing the right thing. The series shows the Church making radical decisions, and in that respect, it bears some similarities to Hellsing.
I'm going to watch the next two seasons to see what I think. ✌🏽

La serie muestra a la Iglesia tomando decisiones radicales, y en ese aspecto, guarda cierta similitud con Hellsing.
Voy a ver las siguientes dos temporadas para ver qué tal me parecen. ✌🏽
