Sonny ran in tears to his mother who was tending her garden. "Slow down, son. What is it?"
"Ma, I heard him talking about hurting Juby."
"Heard who?"
"Steve. He say he hurt my Juby."
"Steve, the vet?"
Sonny and his mother walked down to the vet's office that's was a couple of blocks from their house. When she explained what her son heard, Steve chuckled and apologized profusely to Sonny.
"My friend and I were talking about the overgrown zucchini in my backyard," Steve explained.
"But you said 'we should chop him up, Bill'," Sonny quoted to Steve's surprise.
