Question for you all: Is the name of this beer misogynistic or not?
The story goes like this:
A couple of weeks ago Croatian market hit a new beer with an unusual name: First Croatian beer for women. And immediately was all over different web pages and facebook groups, mostly run by feminist groups, as misogynistic and derogating towards women.
Beers producers said that they made the beer after they made First Croatian beer with mustaches and their significant others objected that mustache beer is for men and that they want something made for them. And Fist Croatian beer for women was made.
The question here is: Is it OK to name beer as for women, and if not why not, and why is then OK to name hand cream as for men?
