Good evening everyone!!!! Happy Thursday!!! My name is Kyriakos Kyriakides, Founder of Team LEGACY, your mentor, and your coach! This is another episode of Words of Wisdom SHOW! Today, we have Episode 25 of our show!
How is your week going so far? We are almost in the end of the week, so I hope you grind as much as humanly possible! Today I am going to share with you a different insight than we usually hear about! This amazing insight will shift your whole perspective! Some of you that you are reading right now, this insight will give you the drive in order to chase a goal, or a dream that you may have! With this insight some of you will find the courage in order to do something that you were afraid to do until today! The topic of our today’s episode is: “Recklessness is Necessary!”
This statement sounds so bold and so wrong to some of you! But I have hundreds of stories to back up this statement! If you want to advance in your life, if you want to do something greater, something bigger, if you want to be remembered, then you need to be a little bit Reckless. History showed us that Recklessness is Necessary in order to Advance in life!
When we sent the first man in the moon it was recklessness! We didn’t know what we would face in the space! Of course we did research, measurements, testing, in order to predict what we would face, but we never were 100% what we would face. We didn’t know 100% that it would be safe, we didn’t know 100% if a human being could survive in Space! We just took a measured risk, we were reckless in order to advance as a species! We were reckless in order to discover something outside Planet Earth!
Another example goes even more deep into history. When we sailed for the first time overseas, we didn’t know what we will face in the new lands! We didn’t know 100% that our ships could survive a so long journey to a different country. We didn’t know what we would face in the other lands. We didn’t know if this idea would kill us or would advance us. Of course our ancestors made a research before, and they did some tests but again, they weren’t 100% sure what could happen. We needed to take a measured risk! We needed to be reckless in order to advance in life, and discover new lands!
Every courageous move needs some recklessness before you do it! Whatever you want to do in your life that is greater than you, that is bigger than the average, and above mediocrity, you will need to take some risk! You will need to feel uncomfortable now in order to feel comfortable for the rest of your life! Nothing great happened without taking risks! You will need to be reckless but at the same time you will need to have faith, and trust, that whatever happens it will work out in the end! When you risk sometimes maybe it won’t work out! Sometimes, what you risked about didn’t go as you expected! Whatever happens you need to have faith on what you want to achieve! If you risk and you win, then you will be able to lead other people to win and succeed what they want too! Now, if you risk and you don’t succeed, don’t get discouraged, because you will be able to guide people, in order to learn from your experience and achieve their dreams and goals as you did!
If you always play safe in life, you will always be in the most dangerous situation! When you always play safe, you never advance in your career, you never advance in your business, and you never grow as a person! If you always play safe in your life you will always stay an average person! The biggest risk you can take in life, is taking no risks! Without risks you don’t feel alive! Of course I want to clarify my point here! I am talking about measured risks! I am talking to be reckless but at the same time to measure the risk, the advantages, and the disadvantages!
So take the decision today to start taking risks for a greater life! Start taking risks for your dreams and goals, and always believe in what you want to achieve!
