Infused milk

And at Santi's preschool, the kids are sick and well, Santiago has caught it and he passes it on to me and so on.
So now you can know that I'm going to share a hot drink with you. I'll tell you, I'm originally from Trujillo, I came to live in Merida to study and I stayed here. While I was a student, I always went to cafes because of the cold weather and here there is something very different, which is infused milk. In Trujillo, it's not customary to just drink coffee, but here it's quite common to offer that drink, generally it's offered with lemongrass or lemongrass and a little honey.
So on that occasion I decided to try it and it seemed very interesting to me. These days, it's been very cold and it's a little congested, so I decided to drink milk with lemongrass.
By the way, one of the very important things about this drink is that you don't let the milk boil for a long time because it burns, that is, when it starts to make the first bubble, you immediately turn it off.
馃Ingredients
250ml of milk
1 sprig of lemongrass
Honey to taste
馃Preparation
First you are going to wash the pot well and you are going to put the milk on low heat
Then you are going to put the previously washed and disinfected lemongrass sprig in the milk, it is important to be very aware of the first bubbling of the milk
Then you will turn off the stove and leave the milk for 5 minutes because the lemongrass is there working. If it happens to you like it does to me that the milk does not completely cover the lemongrass, you can stir it with a wooden spoon
In a cup, add honey to taste and mix very well 馃槏. Enjoy your infused milk
Something worth mentioning is that here they make it with lemongrass or mint. I have not seen it with any other plant. I have not tried it or dared to try it. But this is a recipe that is like something from the area and the touch of honey gives it an additional value. I hope you enjoy it and are encouraged to prepare it.
Leche infusionada
Hola comunidad ten铆a tiempo sin pasar por aqu铆 pero en verdad he tomado muchas fotos y me pondr茅 al d铆a. Tambi茅n Es que aqu铆 en M茅rida Venezuela hemos tenido muchos problemas de luz y aparte de eso pues el clima est谩 cambiando mucho
Y en el preescolar de Santi los ni帽os est谩n enfermos y bueno Santiago se ha contagiado me lo pasa a m铆 y as铆 vamos.
As铆 que ya puedes saber qu茅 les voy a compartir una bebida caliente. Les comento Yo soy oriunda de Trujillo vine a vivir a M茅rida para estudiar y me qued茅 aqu铆, mientras era estudiante siempre frecuentaba cafetines por el clima fr铆o y aqu铆 hay algo muy diferente que son las leches infusionadas, en Trujillo eso no se acostumbra solamente el caf茅 pero aqu铆 es bastante com煤n que ofrezcan esa bebida generalmente la ofrece con limoncillo o malojillo y un poco de miel.
As铆 que en esa oportunidad decid铆 probar y me pareci贸 muy interesante, estos d铆as que ha hecho mucho fr铆o y est谩 un poco congestionada me provoc贸 tomar la leche con limoncillo.
Por cierto una de las cosas muy importantes de esta bebida es que no se deje hervir durante mucho tiempo de la leche porque se quema o sea cuando empieza a hacer la primera burbuja inmediatamente la apaga.
馃Ingredientes
250ml de leche
1 ramita de limoncillo
Miel al gusto
馃Preparaci贸n
Primero vas a lavar bien la olla y vas a poner la leche a fuego bajo
Luego vas a poner la ramita limoncillo previamente lavada y desinfectada en la leche es que es importante estar muy pendiente del primer burbujeo de la leche
Luego apagar谩s la hornilla de la cocina y dejar谩s por 5 minutos la leche por el limoncillo 茅l se ah铆 funcionando si te pasa como a m铆 que la leche no cubre limoncillo completamente lo puedes remover con una cucharita de madera
En una taza agrega miel al gusto y mezcla muy bien 馃槏. Disfruta t煤 leche infusionada
Algo que vale la pena comentar Es que aqu铆 media lo hacen con limoncillo o con hierbabuena no lo he visto con otra planta tampoco lo he probado ni me he atrevido a hacer la prueba pero este finalmente pues es una receta como de la zona y el toque de miel le da un valor adicional espero que lo disfruten y se animen a prepararla
