Today was more successful than yesterday, even if I didn’t have a lot of take-away productivity. I read almost a third of Stephen King’s On Writing, which is one of the books I’m reading for a class (I can see why it wasn’t one of the main suggested books, since it’s more heavily memoir than guidebooks, but since I have a couple of the others on audiobook I figured I’d make one I had a text-based copy of the one I use officially for the class).

Got some writing done nonetheless, though I didn’t post anything beyond just my bare minimum. I’ve been trying to get better about pre-flight polish rather than just raw output, though I think I should be careful not to get too lax in my output because output leads to an audience in many ways. I still get most of my hits on my blog from things that go back literally years now, though I keep getting slightly more traffic as my discipline in keeping it up has been improved.

Also got more physical activity. Drank just under a gallon of tea today. I may have a problem, but at least I have a problem that’s keeping me on my feet and going strong. Twelve thousand steps isn’t a revolutionary improvement for me, but I’m not going to sneeze at it either.

My goal for the next week is to really focus on my classes and get into the second week on the right foot. I still have some discussion responses to write (which I’ll do early tomorrow morning), but I think I can probably start on some of the week 2 stuff today and get ahead of the game.

I’m also starting another campaign of Degenesis, which should be fun. I’ve been feeling a little anti-social and I don’t have a whole lot of structured activities to break up my week what with freelancing and online classes.
