Today me and my friends were in Bangsar Village 2 shopping and were rather quite hungry as it was lunchtime. We had stumbled upon a very pleasant and quaint looking cafe. The cafe was called Marmalade cafe Bangsar, I had never eaten here before but were willing to give it a try. The decor of the restaurant was very inviting and comfortable.

Once we had sat down, the server was quick to provide us a menu. He recommended me the Quinoa Lemak paired with cheesy fries. It sounded very intriguing and it didn’t seem like it would pair well but I was willing to try it as I have a set of adventurous taste buds.

Once the food came, the Quinoa Lemak had a very fragrant smell. The quinoa rice was decorated with ikan bilis, cucumbers, sambal, a poached egg and hard boiled eggs. The cheese fries were not what i usually expect as the fries were rather crunchy and so was the cheese. A bit different but nonetheless good. I especially loved the quinoa rice as it tasted good felt healthier than a traditional Nasi Lemak.

All in all, it was a good experience as the pairing between the quinoa lemak and cheese fries was good but i found it to be rather pricey at RM 45. Would definitely recommend and visit this place again.
