So my neighbour Azlan got married today. He’s been a great neighbour throughout the years we have stayed next to each other, and we’ve built quite a strong friendship over the span of almost a decade. He invited me and my husband to his wedding and we had alot of fun there!
We also went with my a couple of other neighbours whom I have became close to, and got assigned to a chair shortly after reaching. The wedding decorations were pretty grand, and the turnout was pretty good- I guess it was because Azlan is a really friendly guy and has friends almost everywhere he goes.
Our dinner was in a buffet style, with tons of choices to pick from. I, a chicken lover, went for the chicken curry and briyani rice. I also went for some Fried Beehoons, topped with some kind of sauce they provided. It was a Malay wedding so naturally, wine was prohibited. What you can see from the photo is actually sirap, which was perfect for washing down the local delicacies.
I had quite alot to share but I think I’ll end it here for today, it really was an eye opening experience to have been able to be invited in this wedding!
