This past weekend, I photographed some Texas Longhorn cattle near Fredericksburg, Texas. I'm posting some of the images today for the daily #MonoMad photo contest created by @brumest and curated by
@monochromes. If you'd like to join in this awesome contest, you can find yesterday's winners and the rules for participation here. Even if you don't post any pictures yourself, you really should check out the winners, and the whole Black and White community. It's a happening scene, baby, and it's freaking me out!
Well, right off the bat, you knew these Longhorns were something special. The cowboy here is trying to go one way, but his horse just can't stop checking out those horns!
Later on, that horse got a closer look. Hey! Don't stare. It's not polite. Just catch a glimpse of those luscious, curvy, long horns...and then look away. It's like looking at the sun. Talk about "horn envy".
And how intimidating is this? I feel sorry for the other cow. It's like me in the high school locker room.
Ahem! ...my eyes are down here ladies.
