We had another foot of snow this weekend here in Vermont. This time of year it's very wet and heavy, took two clearings today to keep ahead of it. This was about 6-8 inches in and drifts over a foot already. The good news is the security camera caught some of the blower action in motion. This one is special for @tarazkp who was asking about it a couple weeks ago. Even if your driveway or parking area is much smaller, you'll be glad you've got one the first time you use it!
There's just no way I could shovel all of the driveway by hand anymore. This is just one driveway to the new Garage still under construction, the rest of the driveway to the house is more than 2-3x that size.
Generally I'd just plow it, but we had some rain on top of partially melted snow yesterday that froze and then all this snow on top of it. The ATV and plow was sliding a bit too much to clear the hill properly. As an idea how slippery it was, I went to the store to buy a replacement battery for the other truck that had died. On my return I parked most of the way up this driveway. When I started to get out of the truck, it actually started sliding down on it's own and slid about 3 foot before stopping (with studded snow tires on!). Yikes!
And of course even though clearing the snow is a lot of work. It does leave some beautiful scenery up here.
This heavy wet stuff really sticks to the trees nicely.
@dswigle I'm REALLY wanting to see those pink beaches about now, lol.
