I had a very nice Sublime Sunday out flying my Drone. Well, ok actually I flew yesterday, but today was a rainy day, so staying inside and enjoying the edits. I find it enjoyable to copy the files over from the drone, and then finally get to see them on the big screen.
It's always interesting to see things that I couldn't see in the relatively small viewfinder, and to see them in their full large screen glory. Be sure to open these up big!
I took some still shots, and then also shot some video. I'm still torn between the two. The video's certainly take more post-processing work to pull together, but I enjoy seeing the moving views and not just the still pics.
In this video, as usual I had to play with the zoom on the Mavic 3. Check out the amazing capability from seeing the road and building on the far mountain top and then pulling back for the full view. You'll see the jump when it switches cameras at the lower zoom levels. The Mavic 3 actually has two camera's, one that starts at 7x and above and the Hasselblad that goes from 1-6x. They still haven't quite worked out a smooth transition when zooming up and down between them.

I enjoy the waterfall, and the surrounding areas, we live only about 10 minutes from here, so it is a frequent stop.
I also posted a winter view several months ago, it's interesting to see the huge difference between the green's of summer and the cold, white of winter. You can see that post here.
