It was that time again to make the quarterly pilgrimage to Rome, GA to our beloved bando we get to fly there. There is actually someone who owns this places and uses it for scrap and storage, so we have

Hello everyone. I can hardly believe it's been months since my last post. As you may or may not be aware, I handed off ownership and management of the Drone Community to @borniet a while back. I had way

I just finished rebuilding the drone that I crashed in pretty epic fashion last weekend at the Shelby Iron Works Concrete Jungle Gym which happened in the very next flight after this one. So along with

It was too lovely of a morning to not go out and hit some sunrise FPV action over the Dirty South FPV Park on my homestead. Needed to get out and get some blood in my brain flowing this morning and what

I’m always a little nervous when I’m about to fly through the mountains, especially when they’re adorned with beautiful, low-hanging clouds. Mountain flying is challenging enough on its own, particularly

Well, today ended up being a solo day out at the the famous Shelby Iron Works Concrete Jungle Gym as we call it to do some FPV freestyle drone flying. Was supposed to be meeting up with some of the bandhoes

It feels good getting back out with the boys at a bando. It was finally a cloudy day and NOT raining, so the temp was bearable to get out and celebrate one of my dromie's birthday! This was the first time

No matter where you go in the world, you can find an FPV crew to go hit some bandos with! I was out on a cross country road trip from the Dirty South to Oregon in the PNW visiting some family, and got

After neglecting Hive for a while, I'm back with one of my recent drone videos. This is a compilation from three flights over Pestingrad - a spectacular spot situated just above Kotor. The views are

Ever since I was ten or eleven, I dreamed of piloting my own small antigravity glider - a sleek craft that could take me anywhere on Earth. Nearly fifty years later, that tech still doesn’t exist, so I

Here's a short cinematic flight I captured with the VaporD5 a few days ago. The location wasn't anything spectacular, just a smooth, low-altitude cruise over the landscape right before sunset. To give

I'd say that surfing low clouds in the mountains is my absolute favorite thing to do in FPV. However, I only feel comfortable doing it in areas I'm very familiar with because it's very easy to get disoriented

Yesterday, I went on a short hike in the Höllental Valley in Lower Austria. I spotted a particular location on a steep rock that looked like an ideal launch point for a FPV-drone flight toward the summit

Another awesome day with the Dirty South Bandhoes at the Dirty South FPV Park ripping up the wooded skies. I am getting the hand of this new 30 degree camera tilt, which makes my drone a whole lot faster

Just a bit of random footage of me zipping around the Dirty South FPV Park with my new 30 degree Grinderino getting the feel of that zippy angle. Starting to feel good, until well, you hit the ground,

It's been a while, but I am back at the bando in Rome, GA with my fellow Dirty South Bandhoes having some freestyle FPV drone fun on a beautiful Sunday! The government is trying to attack our hobby through

About a month ago, I tried something I’d never dared to do before - flying through fog in the mountains. I’ll admit I had a safety net: if I got lost, I could trigger “GPS rescue” to make the drone fly
