Samuel L. Jackson might never have gotten the role of Jules Winnfield in the cult movie Pulp Fiction if it hadn't been for a slight casting error. The actor recalls that when he arrived, he was angry and tired, and one of the participants in the production added fuel to the fire, mistaking him for Laurence Fishburne. As the producer of the film recalls, Samuel looked like he was going to shoot everyone in the room, and in addition he said, “Do you think you are going to give this role to someone else?” He completely convinced the director and other producers that he was the only one suitable candidate.
