Last week Sunday I played and posted the Highlife Guitar version of the Nigerian Worship Song: Chukwu Ebuka by Frank Edwards.

Doing this, I felt the urge to begin a weekend show of Nigerian Highlife Music on this wonderful Community. I believe that this will turn out to be Something Hooge in the nearest future!
HIGHLIFE GENRE
Highlife is a music genre that started in present-day Ghana in the 19th century. It describes multiple local fusions of African metre and western Jazz melodies.
Well, although Highlife began in Ghana, the South Eastern part of Nigeria has also adopted its unique style of Highlife. π We have our top Highlife artists like Osadebe, Oliver D'Coque and a host of many others.
So I'll begin this week's Highlife Weekend with this short piece. I hope you enjoy it π
