The Theme of Fraternity is best suited for this week because it comes after we reflected on the theme of friendship: A Good Friend.
However, when I think about Fraternity, I think of something much deeper than friendship. Yes! To me, Fraternity or brotherhood goes beyond just being friends. It also involves sharing a unique or common bond, a common goal or common vision. However, first and foremost you need to be friends before this bond will be genuine if not it'll just be a facade.
For clarification, by Brotherhood I don't mean joining a brotherhood organization, and just fulfilling your duties as a member, and calling each other brothers. With this, brotherhood is only a facade. But if friendship is established, then it'll be a wonderful sharing.
However, in most cases, the common goal they share transcends the relationship between individuals. When this happens their relationship will be hinged on whether or not they share the same goal.
In some cases also, "Brotherhood in arms," also go to the extent to give up their lives in other to protect their brother, or the common goal of the brotherhood.
Oh, well, it's all about Fraternity, that's why I've been shouting Brotherhood. Lol
El tema de la fraternidad es el m谩s adecuado para esta semana porque viene despu茅s de que reflexion谩ramos sobre el tema de la amistad: Un buen amigo.
Sin embargo, cuando pienso en la Fraternidad, pienso en algo mucho m谩s profundo que la amistad. S铆. Para m铆, la Fraternidad o hermandad va m谩s all谩 de ser amigos. Tambi茅n implica compartir un v铆nculo 煤nico o com煤n, un objetivo com煤n o una visi贸n com煤n. Sin embargo, antes que nada hay que ser amigos para que este v铆nculo sea aut茅ntico, si no ser谩 s贸lo una fachada.
Para que quede claro, por hermandad no me refiero a unirse a una organizaci贸n de hermandad y limitarse a cumplir con los deberes como miembro y llamarse hermanos los unos a los otros. Con esto, la hermandad es solo una fachada. Pero si se establece la amistad, entonces ser谩 un maravilloso compartir.
Sin embargo, en la mayor铆a de los casos, el objetivo com煤n que comparten trasciende la relaci贸n entre individuos. Cuando esto ocurre, su relaci贸n depender谩 de si comparten o no el mismo objetivo.
En algunos casos, adem谩s, los "hermanos de armas" llegan al extremo de dar la vida por proteger a su hermano o el objetivo com煤n de la hermandad.
