So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun that we did not want it to end. We are currently on the first topic for this week, which is “EXAMS AND TESTS”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “HATE SPEECH”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community, sharing their thoughts on hate speech and just how much of a criminal act it could be. Because if it’s simply words without the actual acts of violence, then criminal consequences might differ.
But then, we got to see that hate speech, even without the physical violence, can also end up having disastrous consequences on those the hate was directed at. This makes it even more dangerous because while the person who says it does nothing, their words can inspire others to take hateful action. This was an enlightening topic, indeed.
