The Mysterious Fig Tree - Fiction Story by Krisz Rokk

She was coming down the staircase of the tiny spacecraft when a soft whisper caught her attention.

“You are not welcome here.”

She turned her head toward the nearby trees, looking for the messenger, when the spaceship door suddenly closed and the staircase lifted to the edge of the ship, forcing her to jump to the ground.

Connecting with the vessel’s mainframe was futile. The autopilot had taken over as Wanda realized she had lost control of her supersonic vehicle.

“Great. Now I’m stuck on this mission for who knows how long,” gasped Wanda as she watched the spacecraft lift off the ground and disappear into the ether.

💎💎💎

“Why did you insist on coming here?”

Wanda found herself in a peaceful place with beautiful trees covered with a variety of ripe fruit, a vast poppy field, and a little house close to the river behind the tree plantation. If it wasn’t for the peculiar whisper, she could well relax a bit and enjoy the scenery.

But the voice from the trees insisted on an answer to the question.

“Why did you come again?”

Wanda walked toward the fruit trees, trying to figure out which one was communicating with her. She stopped in front of a gorgeous pear tree when the whisper turned into a firm command.

“Over here!”

“Oh, it’s you, Miss Fig. Pardon my absent-mindedness. Who would have thought?” replied Wanda, amused by the encounter.

“No wonder they sent you back. Your last mission on Earth was a total disaster, and it looks like you haven’t learned much since either, considering you lost your ship.”

“Preaching again, he? I missed you, too,” Wanda laughed as she opened her blue suit to check whether her device was signaling her precise location.

“I challenge you to throw your locator away,” whispered the fig tree as Wanda was struggling to detach the device from her suit.
“Why should I do that?” replied Wanda, clearly lacking trust in the messenger.

“Because I’ll show you what turned your last mission into a total failure.”

💎💎💎

The fig tree had a small opening to the side guarded by a couple of may bugs who were chit-chatting.

“Hey, hey, hey. You can’t be serious. Don’t tell me these two jokers will lead me to the new grid lines,” sighed Wanda as she approached the may bugs.

“Stop! No trespassing here. Why did you call us jokers, you Smurf?” replied one of the may bugs, agitatedly.

“Let her in, guys. She’s from my home planet, Sirius. The place is packed with Smurfs of all shapes and sizes,” answered the fig tree, laughing wholeheartedly. “Marianne will show her the way.”

“If you say so, boss. But we’ll check her before clearance,” answered the second may bug.

“Do your job, guys. We don’t want this tiny blue being leaving her trail for intruders to discover our entry point.”

💎💎💎

Marianne lifted her beautiful crystal-white wings, welcoming Wanda into her golden energetic sphere.

“It’s uncommon to meet souls from Sirius in this setting”, said Marianne in a pleasant tone. Every time she spoke, her high-frequency voice sent healing vibes into the inner core of the fig tree.

“I never thought a fairy would help me find the newly built dragon ley lines in this forgotten place.”

“It was never forgotten, my dear. While you fought the Draconians together with the Lyrans, the Earthlings dropped their frequency onto the lower base of Metatron’s cube, fighting and killing each other over political, economic, religious, and other weird made-up frameworks. You need to stabilize the grids to facilitate a faster remembrance; otherwise billions of humans will stay trapped in the current infinity loop.”

“It’s my second term in this dense realm. I’ve no idea why some of my peers keep volunteering to come down here. I guess the mess has gotten them addicted to the game of regrets, hahaha,” laughed Wanda as she disappeared into a golden cloud.

💎💎💎

Two children were playing near the blossoming fig tree when a little blue spacecraft landed beside it.

“What’s that blue shimmering thing moving quickly?” shouted one of the children, running towards the spaceship.

“I don’t see it.”

“There! It’s taking off, and now it’s gone. What was that?”

“You and your imaginary mind. Every time we go out playing, you see fairies, blue beings, and whatnot.”

“One day, I’ll prove you right. Maybe one day, you’ll see what I do,” sighed the child, convinced and fully trusting in what he had seen.

💎💎💎

“You always have one up your sleeve, Miss Fig, don’t you?!” said Wanda, relieved as her ship was leaving the Earthly realm.

“That kid will play a major role in humanity’s activation process. He’s a volunteer from Sirius. I guess you’ll have to come back here a third time, hahahaha.”

The fig tree couldn’t stop laughing as Wanda left in despair.
