Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. I’ve been studying how to grow Jabuticaba trees for quite a while now, It is a unique Brazilian fruit. And I’m confident I can do it successfully. So, I’ve started looking for local plant nurseries in my district and nearby districts first. However, none of these local nurseries had this fruit in stock. So I started searching for it online and finally ordered some from an online plant shop a few days ago. I ordered one Jabuticaba tree to test the waters. It was delivered yesterday, but instead of planting it immediately, I kept it outside for a day to acclimate to the environment. I have successfully planted it today.
This time, I'm planting the Jabuticaba in my home garden, but if it grows and yields well, I will plant more grapevines in the longan orchard. My wife and I cut down a 4 year old guava tree that wasn't bearing much fruit and planted a Jabuticaba in its place.
Following the removal of the guava tree, we cleared the grass and weeds from the area.
We then dug a hole approximately 30 centimeters deep to move this Jabuticaba tree, finally backfilling it with soil. And use a stake to support this Jabuticaba.
Finally, I watered the Jabuticaba with a mixture of calcium boron and water.
If this plant grows larger and shows more progress, I will provide an update in a separate post. These are the stories and photos I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to see and enjoy my stories and photos. Please forgive any errors/mistakes. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗
