A few years ago a raccoon decided that it wanted to eat the food that the outside cats were eating. We asked animal control about the Raccoon and they said "We can't do anything about it because you are feeding it." So we stopped feeding the neighborhood cats for a week and it was still coming around. We talked to animal control that time and they did come and get it but told us because of the circumstances they were going to give the Raccoon parole near the local lake.
