Landscape like on the moon. I made so many beautiful photos here at the little ruins Of ancient fortress Fortica, from the 17th century.
I can't imagine a modern house or villa that would be more beautiful to look at, as these few stone walls. Such good light and shadow!
It was quite windy.
Pag was not always barren and rocky. Until the Middle Ages, dense forests grew on the island, which were gradually cut down by the Venetians for shipbuilding. The vegetation and agriculture on Pag never recovered from these interventions.
