Now that I've gotten organized after the holidays, I'm opening some folders and found these beautiful pictures of Puruba Beach in Ubatuba. It's almost an hour away from the city center and is one of the largest and wildest beaches in the area (about 2km of virtually deserted sand). To get to the beach, you need to leave the BR highway and take 15 minutes on a dirt road until you reach a very small and peaceful village. From there, you have to cross the Puruba River, on foot or by canoe, passing through the mangroves and their crab forests, and climb a small dune that leads to the sea. On the left side, there's a freshwater stream that mixes with the sea throughout the day. The beach is located in a protected environmental area, keeping it in its natural state. Definitely one of the most beautiful places in the region!

Agora que me organizei depois das férias, estou abrindo algumas pastas e encontrei estas imagens lindas da praia da Puruba, em Ubatuba. Ela fica distante a quase 1h do centro da cidade e é uma das mais extensas e selvagens da região (cerca de 2km de faixa de areia praticamente deserta).
Para acessar a praia, é necessário sair da BR e pegar 15 minutos de estrada de terra, até chegar num povoado muito pequeno e pacato. Daí, temos que atravessar o rio Puruba, a pé ou de canoa, passando pelo mague e sua floresta de carangueijos, e subimos uma pequena duna que dá no mar. Do lado esquerdo, há uma piscina natural de água doce que ao longo do dia se mistura com o mar. A praia está inserida em uma área de preservação ambiental, mantendo-se em estado natural. Certamente um dos lugares mais lindos da região!!
