Impatience is a common theme across all walks of life, and a flaw in everybody, it affects us all in different ways and at different times or events. And in different degrees. So why are we so impatient as a society? Here in Britain this problem is especially bad, in our current culture we constantly strive to becoming wealthy immediately this is usually the greatest generator of impatience in individuals. Although not everybody, many people believe that they need to become wealthy whilst they are young... because without money you cant have fun and enjoy yourself.

While the absence of wealth is detrimental to having fun in the way society expects us, it isn't necessary because if we start to enjoy life in a more pure sense then money doesn't become such a primary target, and cause us so much agitation to gain. Because when we realize that if something or someone is blocking our ability to make that money then that's when we become agitated and impatient. And this agitation causes stress and anger effecting others negatively and also your own health. Stress can be argued to be just as damaging as unhealthy lifestyle, in the long term.

But why do we demand instant wealth and instant reward? I believe its because the way we think of age. A lot of people believe you can only enjoy wealth to its fullest whilst young which I don't think has to be the case. Why does age mean we should slow down? If anything we should be speeding in our enjoyment of life as time is running out. Why not build the foundations put the slow patient work in whilst we are young in order to enjoy life completely and utterly when we are older.
